Transforming Strength Flank Steak Recipe

Broiled Flank Steak & Vegetables is a nutritious and healthy recipe recommended by Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach Matt Hartsky.

  • 1 Pound Flank Steak 
  • Your favorite Feast Mode Seasoning or Steak Seasoning 
  • 2 to 3 cups of your favorite vegetables (butternut squash, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans etc. This is a good time to clean out the back of the refrigerator.)
  • Sprinkle seasoning on both sides of steak.
  • Coat well & rub into meat.
  • Cover steak with plastic wrap or place in Zip Lock bag.
  • Place in refrigerator for at least 1/2 hour.  

I like to get my meat prepped and chilling in the morning before my day starts. It makes getting dinner easier at the end of the day.

  • Cut vegetables into desired size.
  • Place on baking sheet.
  • Cover with foil.
  • Bake at 350 for 15minutes.
  • Take out of oven.
  • Turn oven on to Broil.
  • Place steak on top of or beside vegetables on tray.
  • Broil for 6-10 minutes on each side(depending on how rare you like your steak). 
  • Take out of oven.
  • Cover and let meat rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows the meat to reabsorb it’s juices.
  • Cut in thin strips across the grain of the meat.
  • Toss the vegetables with the meat juice in the pan.
  • Enjoy!
